1. The first letter of Chinese pinyin is used to indicate the insulation type, conductor material, inner sheath material and structural characteristics.

For example, Z represents paper (Zhi); l represents aluminum (LV); Q represents lead (Qin); F represents phase separation (Fen); Zr represents flame retardant (zuran); NH represents fire resistance (Naihu).

2. The outer sheath structure is represented by two numbers. No number means no armor layer, no outer coating. The first digit represents armor, and the second digit represents outer quilt. For example, the outer quilt of thick steel wire armored fiber is 41.

3. The general sequence of cable models according to the cable structure is: insulation material; conductor material; inner sheath; outer sheath.

4. Cable products are indicated by model, rated voltage and specification. The method is to add Arabic numerals indicating rated voltage, number of cores and nominal sectional area after the model.

For example, vv42-103 × 50 refers to the power cable with copper core, PVC insulation, thick steel wire armor, PVC sheath, rated voltage of 10kV, 3-core and nominal sectional area of 50mm2.

1. Insulation type: V represents polyvinyl chloride; X represents rubber; Y represents polyethylene; YJ represents crosslinked polyethylene; Z represents paper.

2. Conductor material: l represents aluminum; t (omitted) represents copper.

3. Inner sheath: V represents PVC sheath; y polyethylene sheath; l aluminum sheath; Q lead sheath; H rubber sheath; F neoprene sheath.

4. Features: D non trickle; F phase separation; CY oil filling; P lean oil dry insulation; P shielding; Z DC.

5. Control layer: 0 No; 2 double steel strips; 3 fine steel wires; 4 coarse steel wires.

6. Coating layer: 0 none; 1 fiber coating; 2 PVC sheath; 3 polyethylene sheath.

7. Zr shall be added before the code of flame retardant cable; NH shall be added before the code of fire resistant cable.

Oil filled cable model consists of product series code and code of each part of cable structure. Self contained oil filled cable product series code cy. The outer sheath structure is represented by the code combination of the reinforcing layer, the armor layer and the outer sheath layer from the inside to the outside. Insulation type, conductor material, code of inner sheath and arrangement of codes

The order and product representation are the same as for power cables of 35kV and below. For example, cyzq102 220 / 1 × 4 means copper core, paper insulation, lead sheath

The code meaning of oil filled cable outer sheath is

1. Reinforcement layer: 1 represents radial reinforcement of copper strip; 2 represents radial reinforcement of stainless steel strip; 3 represents radial reinforcement of steel strip; 4 represents radial and narrow longitudinal reinforcement of stainless steel strip.

2. Armor layer: 0 no armor; 2 steel tape armor; 4 thick steel wire armor.

3. Coating layer: 1 fiber layer; 2 PVC sheath; 3 polyethylene sheath.
